Sergen Yalçın: 'The two halves were like black and white'

Antalyaspor manager Sergen Yalçın spoke after the 2-1 loss to Beşiktaş. 

Evaluating the match, Sergen Yalçın said, "Two very different halves. For us, the two halves were like black and white. In the first half, we were a team that played very well. In the second half, Beşiktaş controlled the game and played better. I congratulate them. As for us, we want to focus more on the league. As of today, the performance in the first half was satisfying. We cannot make transfers either. We are playing with the same squad. The players are getting tired. We need to return to the league as soon as possible and focus on the league." 

Continuing his remarks, the experienced coach stated, "European competitions are a bit difficult. We do not have a deep squad. We are playing with a specific group of players. I think we will be successful if we finish the league in the top 10. Our squad does not have that kind of depth. We do not have a squad to compete for 3rd or 4th place. We want to finish the league in the best way possible. I think finishing in the top 8-10 would be a successful position for us."
