Signal of a step back from Sadettin Saran on the extraordinary congress decision

All eyes at Fenerbahçe Sports Club are turned to the Divan Board Meeting to be held tomorrow. Club president Sadettin Saran is preparing to share developments regarding the extraordinary general assembly decision he announced some time ago with the community. However, in his speech at the Büyükçekmece Fenerbahçe Business People Association Women's Branch Launch, Saran emphasized his desire to continue his presidency.

The event took place with a gala night held at the Sheraton Esenyurt Hotel, and Association President Fatih İnan and former Fenerbahçe executive Gürel Aydın were among the guests. Drawing attention to the messages of unity and solidarity within the Fenerbahçe community, Saran addressed the club and the fans with these words:

"We have always said 'unity and solidarity.' Even though there were things we could say, we remained silent. We said, 'If we cannot make them champions, we will not stay here, we will pave the way for others.' However, my friends and I have earned the right to stay until 2027."

This statement by Saran caused a great stir behind the scenes ahead of the upcoming Divan Board Meeting. Reminding that he had previously promised to leave his post if he failed to reach the championship goal, Saran signaled that he is now reconsidering this decision.
