On the other hand, following Sadettin Saran's announcement of his candidacy, eyes have turned to former president Aziz Yıldırım. Abdullah Kiğılı, one of the former executives of Fenerbahçe, had stated that Aziz Yıldırım would enter the presidential race if Sadettin Saran were to be the sole candidate.
