Statement from the TFF regarding the broadcasting tender
The TFF has announced that the process for obtaining tender documents for the Süper Lig and 1. Lig broadcasting rights has begun.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced that the process for obtaining tender documents for the Süper Lig and 1. Lig broadcasting rights has begun.
Here is the statement issued by the TFF:
"The tender to be organized by the Turkish Football Federation regarding the transfer of broadcasting rights for the TFF Süper Lig and TFF 1. Lig matches for the 2024-2025, 2025-2026, and 2026-2027 football seasons will be conducted via closed bidding and negotiation procedures in accordance with the General Tender Specification and the Special Specifications for each package. The process for purchasing the 'General Tender Specification' and the 'Special Specifications' and their annexes for each package of the broadcasting tender has begun.
Capital companies, public institutions and organizations, and joint ventures/partnerships eligible to participate in the broadcasting tender may obtain the tender documents, which include the General Tender Specification along with the Special Specifications and annexes for Package A, Package B, Package C, Package D, and Package E, by paying the sale price of 300,000 TL to the TFF's Denizbank A.Ş. bank account with the IBAN number TR41 0013 4000 0600 1423 8000 01. These documents can be collected in person by authorized individuals during working hours from the TFF Financial Affairs Directorate, located at the Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities, Çayağzı Village, Riva/Beykoz/Istanbul, until 17:00 on 26.01.2024.
The deadline for submitting bids is Wednesday, 14/02/2024, at 14:00, and the submitted bids will be evaluated by the Tender Commission formed by the Turkish Football Federation and the Union of Clubs Foundation.
After evaluating the initial bids, the Tender Commission may request new bids from all or some of the bidders. The relevant parties will be asked to submit their new bids within a reasonable time frame set by the Tender Commission. The tender commission may receive as many new bids as it deems necessary. New bids shall be submitted in accordance with the procedure specified in the General Tender Specification.
The tender for the transfer of the TFF Süper Lig and TFF 1. Lig broadcasting rights is targeted to be completed by 29.02.2024.
The Turkish Football Federation is not subject to the provisions of the State Tender Law No. 2886 or the Public Procurement Law No. 4734, and is free to reject all bids or cancel the tender."
