Statement from Trabzonspor: Justice must be served for everyone!

Trabzonspor Club has issued a statement regarding its 5 fans who were arrested following the incidents that occurred during the Fenerbahçe match.

The statement made by Trabzonspor is as follows:

"Our General Secretary Kemal Ertürk made a statement regarding our 5 fans who were arrested following the incidents that took place after the match we played against Fenerbahçe on March 17, 2024.

Emphasizing that justice must be served in the same way for everyone, Ertürk used the following expressions:

It has been exactly 7 days since the decision was made to arrest 5 of our 13 fans for the crimes of attempted simple assault and entering restricted areas, following the extension of the detention period after the Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe match played on March 17, 2024.

The appeals made against the unfair and unlawful arrest decisions have been rejected, and the unfair and baseless detention process continues.

However, there has been no concrete development yet regarding the complaints filed by our same fans against Fenerbahçe players through the same investigation file.

We would like it to be known that we want our fans, who were arrested unjustly and without any legal basis, to be released as soon as possible, and that we will follow the process until the end to ensure that justice is served equally for everyone."
