Statement from Trabzonspor regarding the incident-filled match!

Trabzonspor has issued a new statement regarding the incident-filled Fenerbahçe match. Trabzonspor expressed its reaction by stating that the complaints filed by its fans against Fenerbahçe players have not been processed.

 The statement from Trabzonspor is as follows:

 "THERE HAVE BEEN QUESTIONS IN MINDS BOTH LEGALLY AND CONSCIENTIOUSLY"

 ''The complaints filed by our fans, who were assaulted by certain Fenerbahçe players and guests following the conclusion of the Fenerbahçe match we played on March 17, 2024, have not been processed by the Trabzon Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for 35 days. Not only has there been no response to the statements made on our official website addressed to the Trabzon Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on April 3, 2024, but we have also learned that the complaints filed by our fans have not yet been processed. The fact that no action has been taken to date against certain Fenerbahçe players and guests of the Fenerbahçe Sports Club, who should be treated as suspects in the file, has created question marks in minds both legally and conscientiously.''

 "WE REITERATE OUR CALL"

 The fact that our voice has not been raised loudly until now is out of our respect for the institutions of our state. However, we would like to ask the Trabzon Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Justice once again: 1- Why has the Trabzon Chief Public Prosecutor's Office not initiated the process regarding the complaint files for 35 days? 2- When will the Trabzon Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiate this process? 3- If the foreign players in particular, against whom criminal complaints have been filed, leave the country without being included in the judicial process in the future, who will assume the responsibility for this and the potential material/moral damages that may occur? Reminding everyone that justice delayed is not justice, we reiterate our call for the players and club guests, who are walking around freely without being subjected to any legal proceedings in our country, to be held accountable before justice as soon as possible.
