Stefan Savic to miss Trabzonspor's match against Rapid Wien
Trabzonspor Club Health Committee Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Beşir announced that Stefan Savic has been removed from the squad for tomorrow's match against Rapid Wien as his pain has not subsided.
In a statement on the club's website, Beşir provided information regarding Stefan Savic's health status.
Beşir stated the following:
"Following the examination and MRI scan of our player Stefan Savic, who felt pain in his left leg during our A-team's match against Net Global Sivasspor in the first week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, a muscle strain was detected in the upper front region of his left leg. Upon the latest checks, as our player's pain has not subsided, he has been removed from the Rapid Wien match squad."
Trabzonspor will face Austria's Rapid Wien away tomorrow in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.
