Süper Lig team objects to TFF's election date!
Süper Lig team Samsunspor has announced that they want the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) to hold elections immediately without waiting for the end of the season.
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Mehmet Büyükekşi announced that the TFF will hold an Elective General Assembly on July 18.
Following Büyükekşi's July 18 decision, reactions from Süper Lig teams have begun to arrive one after another. After Beşiktaş and Adana Demirspor, Samsunspor also expressed its reaction to the date set by the TFF for the election in a statement.
The statement from Samsunspor included the following: "Our demand from the Turkish Football Federation is to ensure that an Elective General Assembly is held quickly without waiting for the end of the season, and that a fair election is conducted for everyone."
