Galatasaray's Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi increased his goal tally in the Super Lig to 21 with the goal he scored in the Adana Demirspor match, taking the lead in the race.
Galatasaray faced Adana Demirspor away in the 34th week of the Super Lig, and the yellow-reds' third goal was scored by Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi. In the 90+1st minute of the match, Icardi met the ball in the penalty area following a pass from Dries Mertens and sent it into the net, making the score 3-0.
With this goal, the 31-year-old footballer increased his goal tally in the Super Lig to 21, surpassing Fenerbahçe's Bosnian forward Edin Dzeko to take the top spot in the race for the golden boot.
The Argentine footballer has also scored his 7th goal in the last 6 league matches.
Mauro Icardi, who started the match in the starting 11, remained on the pitch for 90 minutes.
