Surprise move from Serkan Reçber: Former Beşiktaş coach on the way to Amedspor
It has been claimed that Amedspor, which continues its search for a head coach ahead of the new season, has made an official offer to former Beşiktaş manager Valerien Ismael. It was also stated that previous negotiations with Thomas Reis did not yield a result.
The search for a head coach continues at the Diyarbakır representative Amedspor ahead of the new season. It has been learned that the Diyarbakır club, which will compete in the Trendyol Süper Lig, has intensified its contacts with managerial candidates.
It was stated that the club's sporting director, Serkan Reçber, recently met with German coach Thomas Reis, but no positive outcome was reached from this meeting.

According to the report by Ajansspor, Amedspor has submitted an official offer to French coach Valerien Ismael, who previously worked at Beşiktaş. It is not yet clear how the experienced manager will respond to this offer.

HIS LAST STOP WAS BLACKBURN
The 50-year-old coach most recently managed Blackburn Rovers, a team in the English Championship. Ismael, who took office in February 2025, left his position at the club in February 2026.
The French coach achieved an average of 1.02 points per match during his time in charge of Blackburn.
