Teams advancing to the NBA Cup quarterfinals have been determined

Group stage matches in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Cup have been completed.

Following the 11 matches played in the organization, the teams advancing to the quarterfinals from groups A, B, and C of the Western and Eastern conferences have been determined.

In the Western Conference, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, and Golden State Warriors, who finished their groups in first place, secured their spots in the quarterfinals. In the Eastern Conference, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, and Atlanta Hawks, who finished at the top of their groups, joined the final 8 teams.

Through wild card spots, the Dallas Mavericks from the Western Conference and the Orlando Magic from the Eastern Conference also punched their tickets to the quarterfinals.

In the NBA Cup quarterfinals, the Orlando Magic vs. Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder matches will be held on December 10. On December 11, the Atlanta Hawks vs. New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets games will be played.

ALPEREN'S EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE COULD NOT PREVENT DEFEAT 

In the NBA Cup, the Houston Rockets were defeated 120-111 by the Sacramento Kings in a game where national basketball player Alperen Şengün scored 24 points.

Alperen Şengün, who played for 30 minutes and 30 seconds in the match held at the Golden 1 Center, produced 24 points. In addition to his 24 points, the national basketball player recorded 8 rebounds and 6 assists, but this performance was not enough to prevent the loss.

Alperen and Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka were ejected from the game following a technical foul they received with 1 minute and 52 seconds remaining.

For the Sacramento Kings, Lithuanian player Domantas Sabonis played a significant role in the victory as the team's top scorer with 27 points.
