Tedesco wields the scalpel: Fenerbahçe to part ways with 7 players
Fenerbahçe is undergoing a major squad overhaul with the approval of head coach Domenico Tedesco.
Fenerbahçe is preparing to make significant changes to its squad in line with its championship goal. With the approval of head coach Domenico Tedesco, the club plans to part ways with Sebastian Szymanski, Youssef En Nesyri, Rodrigo Becao, İrfan Can Eğribayat, Emre Mor, Bartuğ Elmaz, and Cenk Tosun.
Offers are being received for Szymanski from Bundesliga clubs, and for En-Nesyri from Arab and Italian teams. The management expects a transfer fee of 15 million Euros for the Polish player and at least 25 million Euros for the Moroccan striker.
While there are suitors from the Süper Lig for Rodrigo Becao, Cenk Tosun, and Emre Mor, the Polish club Cracovia is interested in İrfan Can Eğribayat. These departures will expand Fenerbahçe's foreign player quota while also easing the salary budget. The club plans to use the generated funds to sign a striker and a midfielder.
