Broadcasting tender agreement from the TFF
The Turkish Football Federation has reached an agreement with Bi Kanal & Sıfır TV for the live broadcasting of 2nd and 3rd league matches.
With the agreement signed between the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and Bi Kanal & Sıfır TV, Nesine 2nd League and Nesine 3rd League matches will now be broadcast live. The agreement was signed at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities. The ceremony was attended by TFF Vice President Mecnun Otyakmaz and Bilal Kalyoncu, the owner of Yeni Renkler Televizyon Yayıncılık ve Yapımcılık Sanayi AŞ.
Mecnun Otyakmaz stated that this agreement would create a new source of income for the clubs, saying, "For the first time, a tender was opened for 2nd and 3rd league matches, and Bi Kanal won this tender. All matches will be broadcast for two years, and this will provide significant revenue for our clubs. Fans will also be able to watch every match of their teams. 48 matches will be broadcast live per week, and 700 personnel will be involved," he said.
Emphasizing that they aim to make Turkish football stronger, Otyakmaz stated, "We are trying to provide all kinds of support to strengthen the financial structures of the clubs. Broadcasting agreements will allow our clubs to build their future plans on solid foundations," he expressed.
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE BROADCASTING AGREEMENT
Bilal Kalyoncu stated that Turkish football would become more visible worldwide, saying, "We believe that Anatolia is a football paradise, and we took this tender so that this value can be seen. Last week, 48 matches were broadcast simultaneously, and this was a major operation. Nearly 60 cities are represented, and 30 million people are affected by these broadcasts. It is an important step for the TFF to meet this demand," he said.
Kalyoncu expressed that the agreement would contribute to the recognition of Turkish football in Europe as well, adding, "The tender was won with a figure of 85 million + VAT. We want to be by the side of the beautiful football that will be experienced in Anatolia. We thank the TFF, and we will have a great broadcasting season for two years," he said.
