TFF reaches a decision on the Mert Hakan Yandaş complaint!

Ankaragücü Club had filed a complaint with the TFF regarding the insults Mert Hakan Yandaş directed at the stands during the Ziraat Turkish Cup Quarter-Final match against Fenerbahçe. The TFF has now made its decision on the matter.

According to a report by Radyospor, the TFF has rejected Ankaragücü's complaint regarding Fenerbahçe's Mert Hakan Yandaş.

HERE IS THE TFF'S REASON FOR REJECTION

The Turkish Football Federation explained the reason for rejecting the complaint petition as follows:

"Due to the fact that it is stated that the relevant article provision shall not be applied to verbal disciplinary violations in matches where the VAR system is implemented; and furthermore, because it has been determined that there is no mention of your allegations in the reports of the match officials; we kindly inform you that no action can be taken regarding your complaint petition."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

In the Turkish Cup quarter-final match, Ankaragücü defeated Fenerbahçe 3-0 to advance to the semi-finals.

Following the match, Fenerbahçe's Mert Hakan Yandaş had made gestures and certain remarks directed at the stands.

ANKARAGÜCÜ'S COMPLAINT

Following the footage in question, Ankaragücü had taken action. The capital city representative had announced that they would file a complaint with the TFF due to the gestures made by Fenerbahçe player Mert Hakan Yandaş toward the stands during the Turkish Cup quarter-final.

THERE WAS TENSION AT THE END OF THE MATCH

In the final moments of the match, which ended in a 3-0 victory for Ankaragücü, a brief tension occurred between Oosterwolde and Pedrinho, and with the final whistle, another argument flared up involving Mert Hakan Yandaş and Kazımcan Karataş.

While the argument between the two did not escalate due to the intervention of other players and technical staff, it was observed that Mert Hakan Yandaş was very angry.
