Decision from the TFF! Super Cup costs to be deducted from clubs

It has been alleged that the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) will deduct the money it paid for the Super Cup, which was planned to be held in Saudi Arabia but was canceled at the last minute, from the receivables of Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.

It was stated that the 4 million dollar payment (approximately 123 million TL) made to both clubs for the Super Cup match, which was planned to be played in Riyadh on December 29 but was postponed for various reasons, will be reclaimed by the Turkish Football Federation and returned to Saudi Arabia.

According to a report by Sabah Gazetesi, the Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe clubs have accepted this proposal from the TFF. However, there is still uncertainty regarding the new date for the Super Cup. The federation wants the match to be played by March at the latest, but the two clubs have not yet provided a clear response. A decision regarding the date of the match is expected to be clarified in the near future.
