TFF extends transfer window for lower leagues
The Turkish Football Federation has announced that it has extended the transfer window for amateur players in the 2nd and 3rd Leagues until December 19. This change applies only to domestic transfers.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has made a significant change to the competition statutes for the 2nd and 3rd Leagues, extending the transfer and registration period for amateur players until December 19, limited to domestic transfers.
According to the federation's statement, with this change, clubs will be able to update their A-Team lists to field amateur players they have transferred, provided they comply with the player eligibility and age quotas specified in the statutes. Furthermore, it was stated that amateur players are permitted to participate in matches in the TFF 2nd League, just as they are in the TFF 3rd League. This decision will allow clubs to manage their squads more flexibly.
