Massive penalties from TFF for teams that walk off the pitch
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has increased the penalty for 'withdrawing from a match' in its Disciplinary Instructions. A club that walks off the pitch will receive a -9 point deduction in the following season. Its players will face a 5-10 match ban.
The Turkish Football Federation has decided to amend its Football Disciplinary Instructions. Accordingly, a team that walks off the pitch in the Süper Lig will be subject to a fine ranging from 20,000,000 TL to 100,000,000 TL, a 1-year ban from football-related activities for club executives, a 1-year ban from football-related activities or a ban from entering the locker room and bench for staff, and a 5 to 10-match ban for players.
The following statements were used in the TFF's new instructions:

- A fine ranging from 20,000,000 TL to 100,000,000 TL for the Süper Lig,
- A fine ranging from 2,000,000 TL to 10,000,000 TL for the 1. Lig,
- A fine ranging from 1,000,000 TL to 5,000,000 TL for the 2. Lig,
- A fine ranging from 500,000 TL to 2,500,000 TL for the 3. Lig,
A 5 to 10-match ban for players,
In any case, a 1-year ban from football-related activities for the president of the club that walks off the pitch.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the Football Competition Instructions, a club that does not take the field despite arriving at the venue or that abandons a match that has already started shall be subject to an additional (-9) point deduction, valid in the league in which it will compete in the following season.
