TFF imposes three-point deduction on Kayserispor
The TFF has imposed a three-point deduction on Kayserispor, as well as lower-league clubs Altay, Giresunspor, Erzurumspor FK, Bursaspor, Nazilli Belediyespor, and Zonguldak Kömürspor.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Club Licensing Board has issued point deductions to Mondihome Kayserispor from the Trendyol Super League and six clubs from the lower leagues.
According to the statement released by the TFF, the Club Licensing Board conducted final evaluations within the scope of the National Club Licensing System, reviewing applications from clubs in the top three leagues—the Trendyol Super League, Trendyol 1st League, and TFF 2nd League—based on sporting, football social responsibility, infrastructure, personnel-administrative, legal, and financial criteria.
As a result of the reviews, the Board granted national licenses to Bitexen Antalyaspor, MKE Ankaragücü, Siltaş Yapı Pendikspor, and Vavacars Fatih Karagümrük from the Trendyol Super League; ASTOR Enerji Şanlıurfaspor, Boluspor, Eyüpspor, Gençlerbirliği, Kocaelispor, Sakaryaspor, TEKSÜT Bandırmaspor, Tuzlaspor, and Ümraniyespor from the Trendyol 1st League; and Amed Sportif Faaliyetler, Ankaraspor, Bitexen Vanspor FK, Düzce Cam Düzcespor, Esenler Erokspor, Etimesgut Belediyespor, Denizlispor, GMG Kastamonuspor, Hes İlaç Afyonspor, İnegölspor, İskenderunspor, Isparta 32 Spor, Karacabey Belediyespor, Kırşehir FK, Kuzey Marmara AŞ Arnavutköy Belediyespor, Menemen FK, Sarıyer, Serik Belediyespor, Somaspor, and Uşakspor from the TFF 2nd League.
The Club Licensing Board decided to impose a three-point deduction on Mondihome Kayserispor from the Trendyol Super League; Altay, Bitexen Giresunspor, and Erzurumspor FK from the Trendyol 1st League; and Bursaspor, Nazilli Belediyespor, and Zonguldak Kömürspor from the TFF 2nd League for failing to address their deficiencies within the given timeframes.
Thus, the 2023-2024 season Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Process has been concluded, with 12 clubs from the top three leagues receiving UEFA licenses and 64 receiving national licenses. Additionally, 6 clubs in the Turkcell Women's Football Super League were granted UEFA licenses.
