TFF issues message of condolence to Adana Demirspor's Maestro
The Turkish Football Federation has published a message of condolence for Adana Demirspor player Maestro, who received news of his brother's passing during the match against Beşiktaş.
Adana Demirspor, which faced Beşiktaş in the 16th week of the Trendyol Super League, left the pitch with a 2-1 victory.
Antonio Simao Muanza (Maestro), who played in the match, continued to play despite receiving news of his brother's death during halftime.
The Turkish Football Federation also published a message on its official website regarding the matter, sharing in the player's grief.
The statement read, "We have learned with great sadness that the brother of Angolan player Antonio Simao Muanza (Maestro), who plays for Adana Demirspor, has passed away.
We share in Maestro's grief and extend our condolences to his bereaved family and the Adana Demirspor community," it said.
