TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu speaks in Diyarbakır: Everyone who has no issue with the homeland and the flag...
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu stated, "We place great importance on amateur football. We believe that the first step toward the development of football must start there. That is our priority. That is also the principle shared by our board members."
TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu visited the Diyarbakır Governorship and the Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DTSO).
Later, Hacıosmanoğlu and his delegation visited the Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Club's Şehmus Özer Facilities in the central Kayapınar district.
In his statement to the press there, Hacıosmanoğlu thanked everyone who supported them during the election process.

Referring to his conversation with Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Club President Aziz Elaldı during the election process, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "We spoke during that process as well. He said, 'We are working for Amedspor so that football serves peace and brotherhood.' This homeland and this flag are ours. We want the same thing. We will work as a servant for anyone who has no issue with the homeland and the flag, wherever they want to integrate."
Noting that the greatest feature of football is its appeal to large masses, Hacıosmanoğlu stated that it should be used in every field to ensure peace and brotherhood.
Hacıosmanoğlu spoke as follows:
"Our principles are in that direction as well. We will be fair and just. We will be at an equal distance to everyone and remain impartial. The President just showed me around to raise the brand value of football. They are building facilities for the youth setup. We will spread these not only to Amedspor but to the entire country. You can build facilities, but if you do not fill them professionally, no product will come out of them. We place great importance on the youth setup. We place great importance on amateur football. We believe that the first step toward the development of football must start there. That is our priority. That is also the principle shared by our board members. Yes, professional leagues will continue, but we believe that amateur football should be about producing rather than just competing. Because as you know, there is a foreign player problem in this country.
We pay players a fortune. Some adapt, others don't, but they take their three-year salary and leave. In my personal opinion, although this is a team effort, I do not want foreign players to play in any of these leagues—the third, second, or first leagues. But to achieve this, we must first start from the amateur level and support our teams in every field. Together with professional teams, we know most of the problems. If we identify them and start from the amateur level, and if the production aspect is prioritized over the competitive aspect in the third, second, and first leagues—though of course, competition will still be part of it—then we will get rid of foreign dependency."

Explaining that their goal is to move football into a productive position starting from the amateur level, Hacıosmanoğlu expressed that they would work toward this.
Hacıosmanoğlu continued his speech:
"Amedspor is also a team of this country. We have a match this evening, and we have been in the city since yesterday. It is a magnificent city. There is no need to talk about the old Diyarbakır; it is a city where civilizations have lived. It is a city that should be taken as an example. With its planning, it is a city that will be an example to Turkey."
Explaining that children need to be involved in sports and channeled into better places, Hacıosmanoğlu noted that sports are the greatest actor in bringing children into this society and that they will use this actively.
"Let us show Turkey together how brotherhood is done at tonight's match"
Hacıosmanoğlu concluded his speech as follows:

"I also want to address the fans of Amedspor from here. I know they have great feelings toward me. Let us show Turkey together how brotherhood is done at tonight's match. If we create an atmosphere that contributes to a climate of brotherhood in our next steps, this will be an example for Diyarbakır, Amedspor, our other provinces, and Turkish football. That is my wish and expectation. Thank you again. Everything will be beautiful."
Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Club President Aziz Elaldı stated that the city has been experiencing historic moments for 2 days and thanked President Hacıosmanoğlu for his visit to the city.
Stating that they are not just a football club and that they struggle in many areas, Elaldı mentioned that they are waiting for assistance for their youth setup, women's teams, and disabled sports teams.
Expressing that they have produced world champions in kickboxing and boxing, Elaldı said, "Our youth setup is very strong; there are thousands of children in our youth setup. Our goal is to make football fully dominant in the region."
Stating that 50 percent of the spectators who come to watch their matches consist of women and children, Elaldı reported that they are also carrying out renovation work at the club building.
Hacıosmanoğlu will watch the Amed Sportif Faaliyetler-Uğur Okulları İstanbulspor match, which will be played at 21.00 this evening.
