TFF releases VAR records for week 28 of the Süper Lig

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has shared the audio and video recordings of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) reviews for 5 incidents across 4 matches played in the 28th week of the Süper Lig on its YouTube account. The matches and decisions included in the video are as follows:

In the 31st minute of the RAMS Başakşehir - Samsunspor match, the match referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy, who had initially played advantage following a challenge by Mouandilmadji on Kemen, was advised to review the incident. After reviewing the position, referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy showed a direct red card to Mouandilmadji.

In the 47th minute of the RAMS Başakşehir - Samsunspor match, the goal scored by the home team through Aleksic was initially disallowed due to a foul in the build-up. Following a warning from VAR, referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy reviewed the incident and awarded the goal.

YELLOW CARD CANCELLED, RED CARD ISSUED

In the 88th minute of the Beşiktaş - Galatasaray derby, referee Halil Umut Meler, who had initially penalized Omar Colley's challenge on Barış Alper Yılmaz with a yellow card, cancelled the yellow card and showed the player a red card after reviewing the incident.

In the 90+6th minute of the Adana Demirspor - Fatih Karagümrük match, referee Murat Erdoğan was advised to review the incident. Referee Erdoğan, who went to the VAR monitor, cancelled the yellow card and issued a red card to Ceccherini after reviewing the foul committed by Karagümrük defender Ceccherini on Muanza.

In the 52nd minute of the Antalyaspor - Gaziantep FK match, referee Direnç Tonusluoğlu was warned by VAR. Referee Tonusluoğlu, who conducted a potential penalty review in favor of Gaziantep FK, decided after the review that a foul had been committed against an Antalyaspor player in the preceding action.
