The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has released the VAR records for the matches played during the 3rd week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.
The TFF has shared the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) records for 2 matches played in the 3rd week of the Süper Lig on its YouTube account, including both audio and video. The matches and decisions included in the video are as follows:
- In the 84th minute of the Bodrum FK - Konyaspor match, following an attack by the home team, referee Çağdaş Altay went to the monitor upon a VAR review. After reviewing the incident, referee Altay determined that Bodrum player Ege Bilsel had been brought down by contact inside the penalty area and pointed to the penalty spot.
- In the 90+8th minute of the Antalyaspor - Hatayspor match, referee Atilla Karaoğlan initially pointed to the penalty spot in favor of the visiting team due to a handball in the penalty area.
After reviewing the incident upon a VAR recommendation, referee Karaoğlan determined that Hatayspor's Okoronkwo had made hand contact with Mert Yılmaz's face, subsequently canceling the penalty and awarding a foul in favor of the home team.
