TFF releases VAR records for Week 7 of the Süper Lig

The TFF has shared the audio and video records of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for 4 matches played in the 7th week of the Süper Lig on its YouTube account. The matches and decisions included in the video are as follows:

- In the 50th minute of the Galatasaray - Kasımpaşa match, during a Kasımpaşa attack, referee Oğuzhan Çakır pointed to the penalty spot following a cross by Mamadou Fall, citing a handball. After reviewing the position on the sideline upon a VAR alert, the referee canceled the penalty.

- In the 78th minute of the same match, a warning came from VAR for a potential penalty review. Referee Çakır, who reviewed the position inside the Galatasaray penalty area, determined that Ismail Jakobs had committed a handball during Fall's header pass and returned to the pitch to point to the penalty spot.

- In the 44th minute of the Trabzonspor - Konyaspor match, following a situation in the Konyaspor penalty area, VAR alerted referee Halil Umut Meler for a potential penalty review. Meler, who came to the sideline to watch the position, determined that a Konyaspor player had committed a handball after a set-piece and awarded a penalty to the home team.

- In the 77th minute of the Bodrum FK - Adana Demirspor match, Dimitrov went down following contact from the goalkeeper, and referee Turgut Doman showed a yellow card for simulation. After reviewing the position again with a VAR alert, the referee determined that goalkeeper Vedat had made contact with the foot and pointed to the penalty spot in favor of Bodrum FK.

- In the 84th minute of the Kayserispor - Beşiktaş match, referee Atilla Karaoğlan pointed to the penalty spot during a home team attack. Karaoğlan, who reviewed the position again upon a VAR alert, determined that Beşiktaş player Felix had struck his own teammate and canceled the penalty.
