TFF responds to Fenerbahçe's 'Time for Accountability' statement

While announcing that it has accepted Fenerbahçe's request for a meeting, the TFF responded to the post titled "Time for accountability" made by the yellow-navy club. In the announcement made on the federation's official website, it was stated, "We regret to see that the statement made on the club's official website with the phrase 'time for accountability' will not contribute to the environment of dialogue we need in our football, and we would like to emphasize this in particular.

We present to the public's information that our federation is not an 'accountability body,' but a place for solving problems in Turkish football and ensuring its development."

The TFF's statement is as follows:

"Since the day we took office, we have been continuing our path with our board of directors by approaching all our stakeholders at an equal distance, without compromising the principle of impartiality. At every opportunity, we have repeatedly stated that we are open to dialogue and that our door is wide open to all our clubs.

In this context, the appointment request of Fenerbahçe, one of our country's deep-rooted clubs, has been approached positively with the same understanding as it has been for all our clubs to date, and it has been stated that our door is open.

However, we regret to see that the statement made on the club's official website with the phrase 'time for accountability' will not contribute to the environment of dialogue we need in our football, and we would like to emphasize this in particular.

We present to the public's information that our federation is not an 'accountability body,' but a place for solving problems in Turkish football and ensuring its development."
