In the Champions League Group A, which includes Galatasaray, Danish side Copenhagen faced off against English representatives Manchester United. The host, Copenhagen, won the 7-goal thriller with a score of 4-3.

Manchester United took a 2-0 lead away from home with goals from Rasmus Höjlund in the 3rd and 28th minutes. Marcus Rashford received a red card in the 42nd minute, leaving his team with 10 men.
