The first finalist of the UEFA Champions League has been determined

In the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, French side Paris Saint-Germain faced German side Borussia Dortmund on their home turf.

Dortmund took the field with the 1-0 advantage they secured at home. While there were attacks from both sides in the first half of the match, officiated by Italian referee Daniele Orsato, no goals were scored. 

In the 50th minute of the match, Mats Hummels sent the ball into the net with a header from a corner kick, putting his team in the lead. Following the goal, PSG, which was effective in the opponent's penalty area, created consecutive chances, with one shot from Nuno Mendes hitting the post.

While the Dortmund defense did not allow the Paris side to convert their chances in the final minutes, a shot from Vitinha also hit the post. The hosts were unable to find a goal, and B. Dortmund left the pitch with a 1-0 victory.

With this result, the yellow-blacks secured their place in the final, reaching the Champions League final for the first time in 11 years. In the final of that season, Dortmund had lost 2-1 to another German side, Bayern Munich.

In the other semi-final matchup, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will face each other today at 22:00 TSI.

The Champions League final will be played on June 1 at Wembley Stadium in London.
