Trabzonspor becomes Galatasaray's opponent in the Ziraat Turkish Cup final
In the Ziraat Turkish Cup semi-final, Trabzonspor faced Göztepe on their home turf.
The first half of the match played at Papara Park ended in a 0-0 draw.
In the 55th minute of the match, Trabzonspor was awarded a penalty following a VAR review. Goalkeeper Arda Özçimen denied Simon Banza's shot from the penalty spot.
The 'Storm' found the goal in the 78th minute. Ozan Tufan, connecting with a header from Banza following a cross by Zubkov, struck the ball with class into the top corner to score the goal that put his team 1-0 ahead.

Finding another goal through Oleksandr Zubkov in the 89th minute, Trabzonspor brought the score to 2-0 and breathed a sigh of relief.
Managing to protect their score advantage for the remainder of the match, the Burgundy-Blues left the pitch with a 2-0 victory and secured their ticket to the final.
With this result, Trabzonspor became Galatasaray's opponent in the final.
The Turkish Cup final match will be played on Wednesday, May 14.
