Trabzonspor loans out young center-back
Trabzonspor's young center-back Serdar Saatçı has been loaned to Al Nasr for the second half of the season. The agreement includes a 2.5 million Euro purchase option.
22-year-old defender Serdar Saatçı, who plays for Trabzonspor, has transferred to the United Arab Emirates club Al Nasr. In a statement released by the burgundy-blue club, it was announced that Serdar will play on loan for Al Nasr until the second half of the 2025-2026 season.
According to the loan agreement, Al Nasr will hold a 2,500,000 Euro purchase option. In the statement made by the club to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated: "An agreement has been reached for the temporary transfer of our professional football player Serdar Saatçı to Al Nasr Club for the second half of the 2025-2026 football season, with a purchase option of 2,500,000 EUR. According to the agreement, all costs of the player will be covered by Al Nasr Club."
The young defender, who joined the Trabzonspor squad at the beginning of last season, appeared in 19 matches for the burgundy-blue team this season. Serdar's performance at Al Nasr will determine whether the club chooses to exercise the purchase option.
Following the completion of the transfer, the Trabzonspor technical staff will undergo a restructuring of the squad to replace Serdar.
