Transfer promise to fans from Aziz Yıldırım
Aziz Yıldırım, who was re-elected as the president of Fenerbahçe, called for unity within the community in his post-congress speech and promised that significant transfers would be completed within 15 days.
The long-awaited presidential election at Fenerbahçe has concluded, and Aziz Yıldırım has once again become the president of the yellow-navy blues. Delivering his first messages in his victory speech, Yıldırım instilled hope in the fans with an emphasis on unity and solidarity.
Stating that they would get to work shortly, Yıldırım said, "We have established a board of directors consisting of valuable people. We will work together with my experience. Our word is our bond: championship! We will make the necessary reinforcements within 15 days. Do not worry."
On the other hand, underlining that they were not the only winners of the election held in the Fenerbahçe community, Aziz Yıldırım also sent his congratulations to the rival list. "We held an election in our community, but the winner is Fenerbahçe, not Aziz Yıldırım and his friends. From today on, we desire for Mr. Hakan Safi and our elders, and all the people we respect, to come together. We congratulate them as well," he said.
Emphasizing that the team must unite around the goal of a championship in the new era, the president said, "I hope we will become champions in this stadium. We will not be resentful toward one another; we will embrace each other. Fenerbahçe needs unity and solidarity. The Fenerbahçe community is great, everyone knows this. We are the only ones trying to destroy this greatness by dividing ourselves from within. We will not allow this, all together."
Thanking the congress members and the fans, Aziz Yıldırım underlined that there would be no room for discrimination at Fenerbahçe and said the following: "We are tired, but there is a sweet fatigue in all of us. Because of this, I do not want to say too much. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you, long live. We love you. We will carry out this struggle all together. Whoever is out there will not remain excluded; we will establish unity and solidarity all together. I love you."
His chant from the podium, "Even if we are at the gallows, our last word will be Fenerbahçe," brought the enthusiasm in the hall to its peak.
