Transfer suggestion from Volkan Demirel to Mourinho: 'Fenerbahçe has gaps'
Manager Volkan Demirel has made a transfer suggestion to Fenerbahçe, the club where he is a legend. The young manager emphasized that the Yellow-Navy team needs to make signings for two positions.
Fenerbahçe's legendary goalkeeper Volkan Demirel evaluated the match in which the Yellow-Navy team defeated Adana Demirspor 1-0.
Speaking on TV100, the young manager offered transfer advice to Fenerbahçe.
Stating that there are two positions where Fenerbahçe needs to make transfers, Volkan Demirel used the following expressions:
"There are deficiencies in Fenerbahçe's squad. In my opinion, there are 2 positions that definitely need to be filled. I think a left-sided center-back and a number 6 are absolutely necessary.
I am talking about a left-footed center-back. Oosterwolde is, after all, a player with left-back characteristics. He is a natural left-back. If you are a good team, if you are a team playing for the championship, especially if you plan to build play from the back, I think a good team needs a left-sided center-back because building play is now very important in modern football. My opinion is that both a number 6 and a left-sided center-back are needed.
I think Djiku can be the right-sided center-back for this team, but Fenerbahçe needs to prefer a left-footed center-back."
