Turkey suffers first defeat against Brazil
In the Volleyball Nations League match played at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team lost 3-1 to Brazil, ending their undefeated streak.
In the eighth match of the Volleyball Nations League, Turkey and Brazil faced off in Istanbul. Displaying a superior performance at the start of the match, Brazil took the first set with a score of 25-18.
Recovering in the second set, the Sultans of the Net showed resistance against their opponent and managed to win the set 25-23, leveling the score. However, in the third set, Brazil regained control and took a 2-1 lead in sets with a 25-23 win.
In the fourth set, Brazil gave our national team no chance and finished the match 3-1 with a score of 25-15. With this result, Turkey suffered its first defeat in the tournament, while Brazil continued its path undefeated.
Volleyball fans showed great interest in the match and filled the stands. The Turkish Volleyball Federation announced that 17 thousand 34 people watched the match, breaking the attendance record for the Nations League.
