Turkish derby in the CEV Champions League final: VakıfBank wins its 7th title
VakıfBank reached its seventh European championship title by defeating Eczacıbaşı Dynavit 3-1 in the CEV Champions League final, which featured an all-Turkish derby.
The CEV Champions League, one of the most prestigious organizations in European volleyball, hosted an unforgettable final in Istanbul. Two Turkish giants, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit and VakıfBank, faced off in the final. Finishing the match ahead with a score of 3-1, VakıfBank took the trophy to its museum once again.
With this victory, the yellow-and-black team added a new one to its triumphs in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2022, and 2023, managing to win the CEV Champions League trophy for the seventh time in total.
With this success, VakıfBank once again proved the power of Turkish volleyball in Europe, while also bringing great joy to the fans who filled the stands at the final in Istanbul.
