Turkish teams' UEFA report card: Who earned what?

Representing Turkey in UEFA organizations during the 2025-2026 season, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Samsunspor, Beşiktaş, and Başakşehir bid farewell to the tournaments before reaching the quarter-final stage. While none of the five teams could continue their journey in Europe, the revenue table formed at the end of the season drew attention.

According to UEFA's prize distribution system, Galatasaray achieved the highest earnings among Turkish clubs, while the lowest revenue went to Beşiktaş and Başakşehir.

GALATASARAY AT THE TOP BY A WIDE MARGIN

Galatasaray, which participated directly in the Champions League, ranked first among Turkish teams with a total revenue of 53.53 million Euros.

The yellow-red team earned 18.62 million Euros as a participation fee, while generating 7 million Euros in revenue with its performance in the group stage. Its ranking in the league also earned the club 5.08 million Euros.

Having earned the right to play in the play-offs by entering the top 24, Galatasaray obtained 1 million Euros from this stage and an additional 11 million Euros by advancing to the round of 16. The team, which earned an average of 8.41 million Euros from broadcasting revenues, also received 2.42 million Euros from coefficient revenue.

FENERBAHÇE CONTINUED ITS JOURNEY IN THE EUROPA LEAGUE

Fenerbahçe, which started the season with Champions League qualifiers, generated a total revenue of 19.47 million Euros.

The yellow-navy team earned 175 thousand Euros from the 3rd qualifying round and moved to the Europa League with a revenue of 4.29 million Euros after being eliminated in the play-offs. Fenerbahçe earned 4.31 million Euros as a participation fee in this organization, and received 1.8 million Euros and 1.45 million Euros from performance and ranking revenues, respectively.

The team, which earned 300 thousand Euros for the play-off round, generated an average of 4.99 million Euros from broadcasting revenues and 2.16 million Euros from the coefficient.

LIMITED BUT NOTABLE REVENUE FROM SAMSUNSPOR

Samsunspor completed the season with earnings of 7.89 million Euros.

The team, which started from the Europa League play-off round, moved to the Conference League after being eliminated. The red-white team earned 3.17 million Euros as a participation fee and reached a total of 2.16 million Euros from performance and ranking revenues.

Samsunspor, which earned a total of 1 million Euros from the round of 16 play-offs and round of 16 stages, obtained an average of 1.07 million Euros from broadcasting revenues and 320 thousand Euros from the coefficient.

BEŞİKTAŞ AND BAŞAKŞEHİR REMAINED AT THE LOWEST REVENUE

Beşiktaş and Başakşehir closed the European season with 1 million 275 thousand Euros in revenue each.

Both teams advanced to the play-off round in the Conference League qualifiers but were eliminated at this stage, bidding farewell to the tournament. The clubs earned 175 thousand Euros each for the rounds they played and 750 thousand Euros each as "consolation" revenue due to their play-off elimination.
