Uğurcan Çakır: 'I do not approve of what happened'
Trabzonspor captain Uğurcan Çakır made statements following the 3-2 loss to Fenerbahçe. Uğurcan Çakır also touched upon the events that occurred after the match.
Trabzonspor's experienced goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır spoke after the Fenerbahçe match.
Arguing that the challenge on Umut Bozok before Fenerbahçe's goal was a foul, Uğurcan Çakır also addressed the incidents that took place after the match.
Uğurcan Çakır's statements are as follows:
"The first half was a loss for us. We couldn't play the game we wanted. Fenerbahçe also played a part in that.
We talked about it again in the locker room. We were in control of the game in the second half. We reached 2-2, we were the side closer to victory, but we left here with a defeat.
I have played nearly 200 matches, and I have never spoken about the referees. There is a foul on Umut Bozok before the goal. I always try to stay on the pitch, but there is a foul there. That position is a foul everywhere in the world.
We would have liked to leave here with at least a draw. There were undesirable scenes at the end of the match. We do not approve of them. We thank our fans who came here. We apologize to them."
