Uğurcan Çakır's remarks on Trabzonspor

Galatasaray defeated Antalyaspor 4-2 at home in the 33rd week of the Süper Lig, celebrating a league championship for the fourth consecutive time and adding their 26th trophy in total to their cabinet. Uğurcan Çakır, who joined the squad from Trabzonspor at the beginning of the season, lifted the championship trophy in his first year under the yellow-red jersey.

Speaking to beIN SPORTS at the end of the match, the national goalkeeper shared his feelings and thoughts with the following words:

"There is a lot to talk about, but... the environment here is not suitable, we will talk another time.

I played for Trabzonspor for many years, I was the captain, and I never broke anyone's heart there. I didn't have any problems with anyone. I was always the most beloved player. We experienced great successes at Trabzonspor. I always tried to do my job in the best way possible. Right now, I am wearing the Galatasaray jersey. I worked very hard. I crowned it with a championship with a good performance. Hopefully next year, this year was my adaptation year, I will experience greater successes, God willing. I believe in this. I also want to thank my wife."

Çakır also thanked those who contributed to his transfer to Galatasaray and those who trusted him, stating, "I want to thank our president Dursun. He wanted to see me here. He transferred me here with a very large transfer fee. I am happy that I did not let him down. I experienced a well-deserved championship. May this be a gift to the Galatasaray community.
