Wilfried Singo in Istanbul: "Galatasaray is Turkey's biggest club"

Wilfried Singo in Istanbul:

Ivorian defender Wilfried Singo, who plays for French Ligue 1 side Monaco and with whom Galatasaray has begun transfer negotiations, has arrived in Istanbul.

The experienced footballer, who landed at Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal on a private flight from France, was welcomed by officials from the yellow-red club.

"TURKEY'S BIGGEST CLUB"

Speaking to GSTV at the airport, the 24-year-old defender said, "I am very happy to be here. Galatasaray is Turkey's biggest club. I am very happy to be here."

"I RECEIVED ADVICE FROM DROGBA AND EBOUE"

Noting that he has knowledge about Turkey and Galatasaray, Wilfried Singo said, "I follow the Turkish League closely. It is a big league. My older brothers like Didier Drogba and Emmanuel Eboue played here before. I received advice from them as well."

Expressing his happiness at joining Galatasaray, Singo stated, "I hope our fans will always support me throughout the entire season. We will achieve great things together with the team."

The Ivorian footballer is expected to sign a contract with the yellow-red club following his medical examinations.
