Wind concerns ahead of the big derby!
Ahead of the Super Cup final between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, wind at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium has raised questions about whether the match can be played.
Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe will face off in the Super Cup final. The match is set to begin at 18:45 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.
However, the originally scheduled kickoff time of 20:45 was moved up by 2 hours due to adverse weather conditions. Although the TFF aimed to mitigate the impact of the wind by moving the match time earlier, this measure did not prevent the wind from being felt at the stadium.
WIND FELT AT THE STADIUM
Footage taken before the match shows that the wind has begun to make its presence felt at the stadium. Images shared on 10 Numara's social media accounts revealed that a storm-like environment has formed at the stadium.
The footage, which spread rapidly on social media, has increased fans' reactions toward the TFF.
