New practice from bus companies to delight passengers

A new era is beginning for passengers traveling between Istanbul and Ankara. The express transportation system, previously implemented on the Istanbul-Izmir line, is now being introduced for Istanbul-Ankara trips. With this system, buses will travel directly to their destination without stopping at intermediate stops along the designated route.

Following the launch of the High-Speed Train, bus companies began developing new solutions to prevent passenger loss. The express services implemented within this scope aim to significantly reduce travel time by decreasing the number of stops. Trips between Istanbul and Ankara will be divided into "express" and "normal" categories. Express buses will continue their journey without stopping at locations such as Kocaeli, Sakarya, Düzce, Bolu, Beypazarı, and Polatlı.

In the first phase of the practice, only certain companies will organize express services, and approximately half of the available seats will be allocated to these trips. Officials state that feedback from passengers will determine the future scope of the practice. Thus, a new era in terms of both comfort and speed will have begun for intercity bus travel.
