25 illegal migrants apprehended at Metrobus station

In Istanbul, 25 illegal migrants were apprehended at a Metrobus station and taken to the Directorate of Migration Management.

In Avcılar, 25 individuals determined to have entered Turkey through illegal means were apprehended by police teams at a Metrobus station. The 25 individuals taken into custody were transported to the Directorate of Migration Management located in Esenyurt.

During inspections conducted by the Avcılar District Police Department teams around the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Social Facilities in the Denizköşkler neighborhood, a group of 25 people at the İBB Social Facilities Metrobus Station drew attention. The teams arriving at the station determined that the 25 people had entered Turkey through illegal routes. The 25 apprehended illegal migrants were handed over to the Directorate of Migration Management in Esenyurt.

Police teams have launched an investigation to apprehend the human smugglers who brought the group of 25 into Turkey and were preparing to transport them abroad from there.
