40 unlicensed pistols seized in a van in Adana
In the Seyhan district of Adana, 40 unlicensed pistols were seized in a van that was stopped on suspicion. Mahmut A. was arrested in connection with the incident.
Adana's Seyhan district saw a major arms smuggling attempt thwarted thanks to the vigilance of police teams.
Teams from the Seyhan District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau stopped a panel van they deemed suspicious in the Gülbahçesi neighborhood.

During the search of the vehicle, 40 unlicensed pistols and 40 magazines hidden inside boxes were seized. The driver of the vehicle, Mahmut A., was taken into custody.

It was learned that the suspect had a criminal record for qualified fraud.
After his statement was taken, Mahmut A. was referred to the courthouse, where he was arrested and sent to prison. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
