425,000 TL fine for drunk and unlicensed driver
In the Alanya district of Antalya, a 19-year-old driver who failed to comply with a gendarmerie "stop" order was issued a 425,000 TL fine.
In the Güney neighborhood of Antalya's Alanya district, 19-year-old A.G. began to flee in his car with license plate 07 BR 256 after failing to comply with a 'stop' order from gendarmerie teams conducting traffic inspections. After a short pursuit, the vehicle was stopped by the teams.
It was determined that the driver's license had been revoked and that he was under the influence of alcohol. A.G. was issued a total administrative fine of 425,000 TL for failing to comply with a "stop" order, driving without a license, and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Meanwhile, judicial proceedings were initiated against the driver for endangering traffic safety, and the vehicle was banned from traffic for 60 days and towed to a parking lot.
