4th death due to tick bite in Sivas
A young woman who contracted Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) after a tick bite in Sivas has passed away at the hospital where she was receiving treatment.
Havva Dursun (31), a married mother of two who traveled from Istanbul to her hometown of Sivas for the holiday, fell ill after some time. Seeking medical attention for her symptoms, she was admitted to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Hospital for treatment.
Despite treatment in the intensive care unit, Havva Dursun could not be saved. Dursun's body was released to her relatives for burial.
The number of deaths due to CCHF in Sivas has risen to 4.
