Allegations of harassment against 24 female students at a middle school in Kocaeli! Teacher arrested
A teacher working at a middle school in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli has been arrested after being detained on allegations of harassing 24 female students.
Some female students attending Mübeccel Çolakoğlu Middle School in the Turgut Özal neighborhood of Kocaeli's Dilovası district told their families that their teacher, O.M. (32), had harassed them. Following this, the families reported the situation to the school administration.
In interviews conducted with the students by the school's guidance service, it was alleged that O.M. had engaged in harassing behavior toward 24 female students over the course of approximately one year.
The teacher, who was detained by police teams following complaints from parents, was referred to the courthouse after completing procedures at the police station.
O.M., who was brought before the court, was arrested and sent to Kandıra Prison.
