Some roads in Ankara will be closed to traffic as part of the November 10 Atatürk Commemoration Day events.
The Ankara Police Department has announced that some roads will be closed to vehicle traffic tomorrow due to the program to be held at Anıtkabir on the 87th anniversary of the passing of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
In this context, if deemed necessary, starting from 01:00, GMK Boulevard, Anıt Street, Gençlik Street, Akdeniz Street, Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Street, Dögol Street, Spor Park Street, Turgut Reis Street, the side roads connecting Kazım Karabekir Street to Celal Bayar Boulevard, the side roads connecting Celal Bayar Boulevard to Kazım Karabekir Street, and the section of Kazım Karabekir Street between Anadolu Square and Celal Bayar Boulevard will be closed to traffic in both directions. Drivers have been warned to use alternative routes.
