Attention those getting a driver's license! The driving test may change

Murat Tekin, President of the Istanbul Driving Schools and Educators Federation, made statements regarding the training of candidates who will obtain a driver's license in accordance with the Ministry of National Education's Regulation on Private Motor Vehicle Driver Courses, within the scope of the Highway Traffic Safety Strategy Document and Action Plan.

CANDIDATES MAY BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM A U-TURN

Tekin spoke to an AA reporter about the training of candidates who will obtain a driver's license under the Ministry of National Education's Regulation on Private Motor Vehicle Driver Courses, within the scope of the Highway Traffic Safety Strategy Document and Action Plan.
Stating that the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Interior have supervisory responsibilities regarding the reduction of traffic accidents, Tekin said, "The subject of training is also very important here. There was a preparation for a regulation change regarding raising the training standards for those who will obtain a driver's license for the first time. As NGOs, we consulted on this issue with the General Directorate of Private Education Institutions of the Ministry of National Education, and they also took our opinions."
