It has been confirmed that the male body found in the Bosphorus belongs to 30-year-old Russian swimmer Nikolai Svechnikov, who went missing during the Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race in August.
The identity of the male body found in the Bosphorus yesterday has been clarified.
The lifeless body, which was brought to shore by Marine Police teams and was seen wearing a swimsuit, has been determined to belong to 30-year-old Russian swimmer Nikolai Svechnikov, who went missing during the 37th Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race.
