A fire broke out for an unknown reason at a business located on Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Street in the Ferhatpaşa neighborhood of Ataşehir.
Upon notification by those in the vicinity, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the address.
While the teams continued their intervention against the fire, which spread over a wide area in a short time and caused dense smoke, security measures were taken in the region.
With the intervention of the teams, the fire was brought under control and cooling efforts are ongoing, while extensive material damage occurred at the factory.
On the other hand, a hotel located next to the factory was also rapidly evacuated following the fire.
An investigation has been initiated by police teams regarding the cause of the fire.
