Deadly crash in Osmaniye: Passenger bus and semi-truck collide! 6 dead, 11 injured
In a traffic accident that occurred in the Bahçe district of Osmaniye, 7 people lost their lives and 11 were injured after a passenger bus collided with a semi-truck.
The accident occurred at 05:00 in the morning near the Ayran Tunnel, close to the Bahçe district on the Adana-Gaziantep highway, when a passenger bus with license plate 27 AVD 454 collided with a semi-truck with license plate 06 CSZ 652. Following the collision, numerous rescue and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
While identification efforts for the 7 people who lost their lives in the accident are ongoing, the injured were transported to various hospitals in Osmaniye by ambulance. The Gaziantep-bound direction of the highway was closed to traffic for a period due to the accident, and transportation was provided in a controlled manner via a single lane.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
