Death in the heart of Istanbul: Male body found in Maçka Park
A person found motionless in Maçka Park in Istanbul's Şişli district in the morning hours was determined to have passed away. The body of the individual, whose identity has been established, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
At around 08:30 in the morning at Maçka Park in Istanbul's Şişli district, cleaning staff noticed a person lying motionless on the ground. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
The medical teams that arrived at the scene shortly after determined during their checks that the individual had lost their life. Police teams took security measures in the park and launched an investigation.
IDENTITY ESTABLISHED
As a result of the work carried out at the scene, it was determined that the person who lost their life was 29-year-old Tuncay Yılmaz. After the examinations were completed, Yılmaz's body was taken by ambulance to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
LEARNED TO HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD
It was learned that the deceased, Tuncay Yılmaz, had 17 separate criminal records. The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
