Drug operation in 24 provinces: Over 1 ton of narcotics and nearly 2 million pills seized

According to information shared by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, operations were conducted against drug dealers in 24 provinces—Istanbul, Gaziantep, Hakkari, Kırklareli, Van, Erzurum, Diyarbakır, Bitlis, Siirt, Kütahya, Aydın, Bursa, Hatay, İzmir, Ankara, Konya, Samsun, Manisa, Tekirdağ, Kayseri, Artvin, Kastamonu, Çorum, and Kırıkkale—over the last 10 days, coordinated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the EGM Narcotics Crimes Department, and carried out by Provincial Police Departments.

As a result of the operations, 144 suspects were apprehended. Additionally, 1 ton 124 kilograms of narcotics and 1 million 826 thousand drug pills were seized.
